Embedding the Fair Trade Principles

This process usually takes a full day to complete at each site, you will need paper (A4 and large sheets), pens, bags and buttons. You should carry out the process at all key production sites. This video explains a participartory method of gaining feedback as to how your organisation is performing against the WFTO Fair Trade Principles.

Print out each of the 10 symbols on a separate sheet of A4. Spend some time to translate it into the local language using words appropriate to the situation. These are then used, one by one, while describing each principle as part of the embedding process.
